About us

We wish to launch pop-ups to challenge preconceived notions about plant-based food. Too often seen as restrictive and bland, we want to show that vegan cuisine can be delicious, creative, and diversified. By offering a unique experience, we aim to spark people's curiosity and open their culinary horizons. Without seeking to convince but rather to inspire, these pop-ups will be a space where everyone can discover the pleasure of eating vegan. By showcasing delicious and tasty dishes, we want to demonstrate that plant-based food can be an opportunity to explore new flavors and textures.

Our challenge? To show you that we can make your mouth water while cooking 100% plant-based. Each edition highlights a new cuisine, a new chef, and a new location, in a warm and festive atmosphere. We aim to collaborate with local actors and participate in the circular economy as much as possible. We encourage suggestions and feedback, as we strive to improve and will always do our best to ensure our customers' satisfaction.

With us, be yourself and enjoy!

Why 100% vegan?

We believe it is essential to incorporate more plant-based foods into our diet. Too often, we associate a balanced meal with meat and sides. However, nutrition and environmental experts assert that our consumption of animal products is problematic. A plant-based diet reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. It also requires fewer natural resources and produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to the fight against climate change. Furthermore, if the human population were exterminated at the same rate as animals are killed, our species would disappear in only 2-3 days! We want to raise awareness of the suffering and exploitation of animals, which is so easily avoidable. Dairy products and eggs also pose problems for health, the environment, and animal welfare. The living conditions of animals in these industries are often cruel: separating calves from their mothers, forced insemination, early slaughter, confining hens in small cages, and grinding male chicks. In summary, a vegan diet promotes better health, a more sustainable planet, and more ethical treatment of animals.

Naya

I'm the head chef of the "Greek Taverna" edition! With over 20 years of cooking experience, I launched a catering business, "Le comptoir de la cuisine grecque", which showcases my delicious Greek, Mediterranean, and Oriental creations. I'm always ready to take on new challenges, and even though I'm not vegan, I'll amaze you with my homemade creations that are just as good as the original versions!
